Anchor stabilization

The yacht industry represents the maximum expression of luxury, consequently the comfort and the relax should be appropriate. Our team created the first stabilization system in the world order to achieve this aim, therefore PSC stabilizer reaches 75% of roll damping with a normal fin's range (±30°),  as shown by the graph and the video below.

360° of comfort

360° of comfort

For the first time ever we introduced the fin’s complete rotation all over 360° at anchor condition.
This innovation assures the best performance thanks to a force 4 time higher compared to usual fin’s range.
In the trend below roll forced decay (green area) with ±30°,  ±60°, ±90° fins' ranges.
The roll damping increases from 75% with ±30° fins' range, to 85% with ±60° fins' range to 93% with ±90° fins' range.

The graph below depicts a real test with PSC stabilizer range ±90°.

Innovative control method

Ships in their roll movement are like a seesaw, now imagine you have to stop the seesaw; you have two possibilities: the first one is to catch it when it pass through 0° position and the second one is to catch it from the highest position.

In the first picture the stabilizer applies a huge force in a moment, which causes a violent scroll to the children that hurts him and makes him cry.

In the second picture the stabilizer splits the force in the whole length, because PSC control is more effective and inspires absolut confidence to the children.

Competitors

PSC Stabilizer

1.

An uncomfortable way to stabilize

In order to stabilize the yacht, various jerks are inducted on people onboard, generating one of the most uncomfortable element

2.

An unstable stabilization

Bang-bang system: fins begin their movement when the ship passes through the vertical position and they move for the whole range. As a consequence it is impossible to stop the vessel in a stable position.

3.

Small movements but rather annoying

The smallest movements are not stabilized and numerous competitors use a dead band in order to prevent undesiderable effects.

PSC stabilizer: the only jerks free system in the world

Our duty is to achieve the best relax and comfort: PSC will never induce a jerk.

The perfect way to be rocked by the sea

No bang-bang system: fins start their movements in the highest roll position and even more, they move just as they need to stop you in a stable position.

Small movements: great solution

We are able to damp the smallest movements that are crucial for large ships. As a consequence is not required a dead band and the luxury will never reach an end.
